How it should be...

I was reading about the Middle Ages today in my history book, when I came across a description of the Liturgy during that time:

"The Liturgy itself was a splendor for the senses, with rich and colorful vestments,
the smell of incense, the chant of choirs, the sonorous bells calling all to worship."

(*sigh*) Why can't all Masses be like that?
