The other day I came across an old box of school books and found a paragraph that I had written about 3 or 4 years ago. Grammatical errors included.
Almost everyday I practice piano. I no longer take lessons, for
I had not the dilligence to practice ten minutes a day. I usually
start off by playing Fur Elise for the thousandth time with no ending.
After that I play whatever my fingers please. Though I may not be
good at time keeping or finnishing a song or playing soft enough,
what do I care. I'm not Lorie Line. It doesn't matter if I play Tarentelle,
The Campells are comeing or live the life, I'm sure to get crabbed at
sooner or later. :-)
I now enjoy playing piano very much, thank you.

Prayer Request.....

Please pray for me and the 250 others teens from the Twin Cities area who will be attending the Hunger for Catholic Missions retreat tomorrow and Saturday. We are going to fast from eating for 30 hours and do mission work. After the 30 hours are up, we break the fast with Mass. How cool! We've collected prayer pledges and money to support some mission outreach projects in Nigeria, North Dakota and Texas. Our theme this year is the underground church, so we are asking people to pray for those without religous freedom. Thanks!

And the winners are...

Sr. Mary for the most creative guess (at least from a 14 year old's point of view)
Tim Ferguson for the snarkiest guess (you'd fit in nicely with my family)
Mark and Tim for guessing the closest (yes, unfortunately it is one of the Stations of the Cross)
Fr. Dennis - thank God it is NOT a prayer labyrinth! (those things are creepy)

Good guesses all around, but unfortunately none were correct. The answer is....The 13th Station - Jesus is taken down from the cross. Don't feel bad though, even the people at our church can't identify them...Really, they hand out guide books each Friday when we pray the Stations.
Don't you just love abstract church "art"?

And now it's time to play Guess That Church Ornament!

Aren't you inspired by its beauty? Don't you feel better informed by the lessons it teaches?
